               ***2020 Spring Season Officially Cancelled***


LCBSA Families


Due to a variety of important considerations, the 2020 Spring Season has been cancelled.    This was tough decision. 


As a result, the Board voted to offer a $60 per player refund for the Spring season for those families who would like one.  In determining the appropriate amount to offer, the Board took into account all of the upfront expenses already incurred by the league, which include: uniforms, insurance, equipment/supplies, website hosting fees, background checks, pre-season field maintenance & preparation, league registrations fees (Pony, Babe Ruth, and USA Softball), and more…….none of which, unfortunately are recoverable. 


The deadline to claim refunds was July 22nd.  Refunds should be processed by Mid August.


Refunds not claimed are considered a welcome “donation” back to the league to help ensure LCBSA can continue to provide an outstanding youth sports experience at a very reasonable price for years to come.   Your Board of Directors have all agreed to “donate” their player’s registration as well.   LCBSA is a non-profit, so your donation may be tax deductible.    Clink the below link to access a letter that can be used for your tax filing

This has been a trying time for all of us.  Most importantly, I hope you and your families continue to remain safe and healthy and we can get back to playing LCBSA baseball & softball next season.
